Final Destination Phoenix

While boarding my plane to LA from Seattle I noticed a nice little tone a lady was singing in line behind me.  Well it started out as a nice tune, until she grew louder and louder and her drink of choice in hand went from full to empty.  By the time we sat in our seats she was being so obnoxious the flight attendants had to call security.  After wasting 30 mins and furthermore delaying our flight the not-so-sober woman was escorted off the aircraft.  To be honest I was a little excited I love it when people make public scenes, it makes things more exciting. I followed the isle down till I found row 7 seat B.  I closed my eyes and started to wish please let me sit next to a grandma or one of those people who read the whole time and are just silent.  However when I opened my eyes there it was, my seat, in between a man wearing scrubs and another snoring with his headphones blaring jimmy Hendrix. Perfect. Well actually it really did turn out to be perfect, the man in scrubs was one of the best self-serving friends I’ve ever met on a plane.  He lived in long beach and knew the airport well so when we finally landed I sprinted after him through the LA airport and he pointed me in the direction I needed to go to find my connection flight. With out his help I would have been completely lost, and if you know me then you know I don’t do well when I’m lost. I waved goodbye to the angle wearing scrubs and started running towards terminal 1.  I sprinted for a good 7 mins until I thought I was literally going to pee my pants.  I knew I couldn’t hold it any longer but I didn’t know what was worse missing my connection flight because I had to make a pit stop in the ladies room or peeing my pants and having to sit on a plane?  I’m not sure why but I choose the second one.  I finally made it to U.S Airways and checked in, when she handed me my boarding pass I felt like there was hope in the near distance that I was going to make my next flight, well that is until I turned the corner.  There in front of me was a line so long I couldn’t see the end of it.  I had to go through check in for the second time that day and I only had 12 mins until my flight started to board.
