The Day that Can’t be Topped

Last Thursday I turned 19. However, referring to it as “last Thursday” doesn’t have the certain appeal to it as what I like to say..  “The day that can never be topped.” I woke up to the sweet smell of waffles with fresh peaches and whipped cream, and that just so happens to be my favorite b-day breakfast!  After talking to my dad, my aunt, my mom and friends who all wished me a happy birthday, I walked up the stairs only to be attacked by my three little cousins.  And you better believe hey gave me the best birthday hugs and wishes you could ever ask for. We started getting hungry so we pulled out our sandwiches and ate sitting on a log next to a little creek.  At first we didn’t talk I’m not sure if it was because we were just that hungry or because that the sounds around us made a nice little symphony of their own.  When we were done we head back to the resort and sat in the hot springs.  I sat there in the 104 degrees water next to Richie splashing my feet and trying to stop...
